Why do girls drop aphi?
by: ConfusedI’m not asking this to stir the pot I’m actually wondering. I see posts on here saying so many girls dropped aphi but I don’t know any who have? And my friends in aphi really like it as far as I can tell? Who dropped and why

Honestly? Aphi is known to be super hot but because they’re high mid they miss the cutoff for the elitiest tier and end up getting the rejects from upper sororities. A bunch of hot girls who feel they didn’t get what they deserve... use your imagination for why it creates drama and the worst retention rates

just speaking from my own experience so it’s not fact but as someone who rushed I noticed literally nobody’s first choice was Aphi. I’ve also met more girls that dropped from Aphi than any other house but in general most girls who drop from anywhere aren’t too upfront about their past in that house, which is why you may not hear about it

they can be difficult to get alignment with not sure what else to say. I had classes with some and they’d often show up late or not at all and had bad attitudes so it’s probably hard to fit in there.
story time: worked on a presentation with one and she kept “forgetting” my name. nice.

I think it’s also important to say that aphi used to offer any hot spring admit a bid and girls would take them because they knew nothing about greek like and didn’t know rankings or what they were getting into. It was super dirty and a lot of the other houses (including mine) thought it shouldn’t be allowed. Girls in aphi arent really known for being welcoming so joining halfway into the year probably isn’t the best experience

Are the aphis in the comments really trying to blame tridelt and adpi? here’s the truth aphi is not as hot as the uppers and it’s more blonde than tridelt and adpi, which is why they’re considered all the same tier but aphi is kinda above in hotness. However most girls this year legit picked tridelt and adpi over aphi because they’re known as being social climby and not nice. Like i’m sorry to say it but i’m not in any of those 3 sororities and all i see are aphis trying to pin these true comments on somebody

Are you honestly trying to say would-be APhi’s went to Tri delt this year? Have you SEEN the girls Tri delt has recruited in the last 5 years? There’s a reason for Tri delt’s reputation being girls that “let themselves go” which APhi would not tolerate because they have a rep for being hot unlike the majority of Tri delt who have strengths in completely different areas that aren’t based on looks/social. So how would many of their girls cross? They wouldn’t

Also people need to stop acting like APhi is somehow significantly more white and same-looking than sororities below them when our whole srat system DG/Kappa all the way down to AXO is incredibly white. If you’re going to complain about one you might as well complain about all. No, brown/dark hair isn’t real diversity. I’m not an APhi but these are just truths

^this. tri delt is not cute at all anymore. i’d say 90% of their girls would not have made it into aphi. tri delt has much better retention rates and usually avoids informal though which aphi always struggles with

tbh true, adpis pc was hotter than tridelts this year by far. the only thing holding tridelt up is their graduating upperclassmen but you can’t even argue aphi is hotter than both
