not every house can be upper mid
by: factswe have all seen the posts claiming 7/10 houses are either top or upper mid. if you understand the definition of the words upper or middle, you'll understand that not every house can be "upper mid". that's just not how the world works. i'm not calling anyone out in particular here but it is simply impossible for 7/10 houses to be top or upper. be excited you're enjoying your house, but please stop this because it makes you look silly.

Tridelt mixed with lambda and Adpi mixed with sig chi. Not commenting on their ranking but just saying you’re not in “a top frat” because both have mixed?

I don’t consider mixing with a house one time to really matter, a single WW is different than having multiple exchanges/mixers before parties with us in a semester

I mean personally I’d call aphi and theta upper mid and tridelt and adpi solid mid but I think it depends on the person? Tridelt and adpi do regular socials with sammy which is upper mid and just based on what I see on their instas I’d say upper mid but also i don’t think it’s that serious whether they’re both mid or upper mid.

I feel like solid mid is definitely fair, idk much about who they mix with but my point was one ww or exchange doesn’t equal relations between houses. Cool girls but very diff than other upper mid houses

I mean it’s all opinion at the end of the day.^I think after aphis pc and their reputation a lot of girls ended up picking tridelt or adpi as far as I heard this past spring. Aphi has more general hotness whereas tridelt and adpi have a mix, but i’d call them all upper mid because tridelt compensates with being nice and adpi has the grades. It’s also the cutoff before a drop but I mean does any of this really matter lol

Agreed like when we had agd nobody was like ah tridelt and adpi are mid not upper mid, but now that agd left we have a whole shift and it’s weird. Still think those three are kinda “the upper mids” then gphi is like mid/lower mid and then axo

I agree, I feel like the quality of houses at usc is def a lot higher than most places, arguably the highest anywhere tbh. The top houses are the complete package: looks, wealth (alumni + members), prestige, personalities and class. Axo here would at least be mid at a lot of schools or upper mid. Tridelt + Aphi here would probably be upper to top at a huge state school (even SEC) or maybe even an Ivy. I mean, usc Kappa and DG are probably nationally top Kappa and DG chapters. Those 2 houses at USC, along with Theta and Pi Phi even, are their own powerhouses nationally.

I think theta is definitely one of the top though and I don’t think pi phi is a top
