If I see another happy-go-lucky post from some pathetic sorority girl trying make the SC sorority system look good by burying the truth I am going to pull out all the stops...
Stuff every PNM should know before they even consider rushing!
All the sorority lies will be revealed!

Sororities need cute pledges:
If you are hot, you are worth more than gold to a sorority. A sororities entire status is based on what the top tier frats think about them. The way frats determine who is best is based strictly on the PC's overall appearance. Guys in frats make this determination on appearance alone. No one cares if you are nice (inside).
This outside appearance may seem unfair but this is how the sorority system operates. An example of how this works is DG. After three PC of less than stellar girls, they have fallen in the real rankings. You will still hear guys say DG is a top house however that is often followed by something about the older girls being prettier than the current pledges. This is a bad sign for any sorority and especially DG. Hopefully they will turn things around in the next few weeks.

And the same goes for frats. USC is going after guys with higher academic stats and these dudes are not as hot as they used to be. SC is not a finishing school for rich kids anymore -- and that's a good thing!

Frats have not suffered as much from the high academic standards as sororities. Fraternity's outward appearances just aren't as important.
The girls these days are just more socially awkward. They are far less skilled at applying make-up and picking the proper dresses. Also far more girls on some sort of scholarships and financial aid.
The row will adjust and the definition of pretty will be lowered to meet today's incoming group.

USC offers merit scholarships (Mork, Presidential, Trustee, National Merit) regardless of financial need. Many of these "top" recruits would never qualify for financial aid based on need. Who is going to turn down this $$? Even wealthy students get these scholarships and they are in all the sororities-- nothing to be ashamed of!!

its called a bag list they can only wear certain things with letters on them you can deny it all you want but you all now that the top houses have bag lists to only allow some girls wear certain things
and yes "volunteer"…if that's what you want to call it go right ahead no one is fooled

obviously you dont know how the houses give out clothing...everyone gets stuff with letters on bid night, and it's all the same stuff for everyone. and then if they buy bags, they buy them online in the sorority's online shops that their design chairs set up every so often. so tell me again how they prevent certain girls from buying stuff they want with their own money, and then wearing it
