average requirement
by: :)just wanted to know roughly what are the average requirements for joining a sorority. I know they all are different but I'm going to be joining in my 2nd year and wanted to know if my gpa makes me eligible to join. thanks :)

Hi there!
It is recommended that you have an average of 65% or above when coming through sorority recruitment. This is because each sorority keeps their members academically accountable and thus each sorority has a minimum GPA that their members must uphold in order to enjoy the full benefits of membership. This average is around 65%!
I recommend that you go to the UBC Sororities website and get more information about how to join. If you still decide you would like to come through 2014 fall recruitment then register in August when the registration for recruitment opens! Here is the website: www.ubcsororities.com
