what do people actually think of AOII?
by: ubseemet a bunch of AOII girls recently, and they seem cool, so why is AOII ranked so low in recent discussions? their page on here has them ranked second of something... so wheres the disconnect?

not being your “typical sorority girl” is might be nice for girls but i mean i’m just saying from a guys perspective i just liked them more for being kinda academic rather than obsessed with using annoying one liners on greek rank and giving us paragraphs about how that one beta party wasn’t a dumpster fire

^ I mean yeah you won’t see AOII’s commenting “self rank” or bullying other strats on GR. They have lives outside of Greek life and they don’t rlly dig into drama. Kinda nice tbh

^nah not rlly…that’s just a long-standing joke other strats use to put them down but it’s kinda old at this rate. It takes a single look at their formal slides or their IG to see that only a few are bigger girls (like every strat) and they have girls of all sizes. Pick a better dig haha

Girl what There’s only like three or 4 big girls I can think of in AOII but I can think of the same amount as in other strats. AOII just doesn’t hide their plus size members like other strats do on IG lolll

I really like them! They’re absolutely one of the most down to earth and genuine sororities. But in the nicest way possible, I do however think they need to be putting more effort in. Most sororities do huge retreats for new members and AOII doesn’t seem to do anything for their NM’s. Their retreats aren’t ever overnight trips like most frats/strats. Also their big/lil reveal looks like it has low planning in it every year. and you won’t see bigs surprising littles with gifts or them putting names on paddles or cute socials. They’re not a “bad” sorority for this stuff but it just looks like they’re low budget or their actives don’t rlly have much drive and it looks like they miss out on stuff other sororities get to do…seriously! No cute matching s t shirts at events? no retreats? No trips? No regular exchanges/socials? I think they’re one of the most genuine groups and they have my heart but I rlly wished they’d get more involved and passionate about greek life!

Don’t think the budget has anything to do with the fact that frats specifically don’t invite them to exchanges …

^ don’t think that’s true bud. Seen em have exchanges with AEPI, Phi delt, pretty sure the engendering frat likes them. Hosted their phil at KSIG. And one of my friends in there has told me a lot about how they have a study table with beta planned as well as have even planned stuff with ADPI and Kappa. Idk which frat you claim specifically doesn’t invite them but if let’s say phi delt likes them (which they do) and a mid frat like Sig or DKE doesn’t then nobody could care less💀💀

TBH I gotta disagree. I think AOII and AGD have the strongest sisterhoods of all the srats. zero drama, and you don't see friend group cliques like in KKG, ADPI, or Theta. I rlly like that instead of having tiny groups theyre all one big sisterhood and in it for each other. def refreshing to see

Wait wdym “attracts a certain type of girl” not instigating but Personally I kinda think they’re a relief. I don’t hang with em a lot but most of the girls in strats I’ve met at the village have the same personalities, similar majors, backgrounds etc. They also kinda all look similar and dress the same. The girls in AOII I’ve met aren’t ur typical sorority girls are seen really chill which is cool tbh
