Panhel exec is so mid
by: PanhelsuxIts been barely a month and the new panhel exec has already proven to be beyond incompetent. Banning all girls from going into the vil, even if the house isn't holding a spring rush, is non-sensical and illogical. The double standards and hypocrisy is incredible. #FREETHESRATS2022

I just want to make sure you realise that this isn't a choice by our panhel here, they are all lovely women who are simply complying with UA10, This is not something they have come up with on their own. If you have issue with the rule of not interfering with fraternity rush, I suggest you take it up with the international org. Just please don't bash people for something out of their power, it doesn't really make sense...

I don't care who made the rule, but its panhel's choice of whether or not to actually enforce it. Every spring rush in history has gone none enforced you bozo

UAX??? That’s not set by panhel it’s set by NPC- you can hate the rules but not the girls … just do a little reading and you’ll see. Even if we don’t follow these rules we have to seem like we are otherwise we could get our charters pulled- anyone who has been in Greek life for awhile knows this

I agree... It sucks that panhel is being bashed for this when this is something that had been around a long time.

Its likely that this is coming from higher up. Many of the women on council last year are also there this year so this leads me to believe they are being pressured externally.

I'm pretty sure most of the girls on council don't even get a say in the rules and whether they're enforced.. from what I've heard most of the girls on council didn't even know these rules were in place until everyone found out 3 days ago.. take it up with the advisors and npc if you have a problem with it but not the girls

We don’t care. It’s outdated, and ridiculous. And it doesn’t matter because absolutely none of us are following it and I haven’t met a single exec or president who’s planning on enforcing it or finning people. Too bad!!✌🏻😁

The new Panhellenic Council is full of the most uptight girls I have ever seen. Pretty unliked honestly. Not surprised that most of them are enforcing these outdated rules, most of the time when people are elected to Panhellenic counsel it’s not because they actually care about us or our thoughts it’s just because They like being in power and you can tell by the way they’ve been enforcing these rules and the way they speak to other women. You’d expect a council that’s supposed to care about us would use their power to question outdated rules, listen to our voices, and help us have the best experience in Greek life. Instead they’re mindless, doing anything to keep their powerful position, even if it means finding and kicking hundreds of girls out of Greek life and scaring all of us. Really showing their true colours and their true values.

This has always been a rule and its likely that they are being pressured to enforce it more this year than others. There are so many wonderful women on council, many of which have been there for multiple years and trust me, its not about "power" because there isn't much to be had. They are very likely feeling the same way about these rules. And im not sure where kicking people out of greek life comes in... the infractions are much much less serious and almost negligible

can someone name the girls who made these rules cause I genuinely wanna sit down and talk to them. they can't pretend these are to "help us". by saying we can't go into the village they're either saying that we can't party because its not a good look or can't be trusted partying, OR WORSE saying the frats can't be trusted to keep us safe. no logic. I wanna talk to them.
