Is Greek Life Worth It

by: fr

With any amount of experience you have, do you think it is actually worth the time, money, mental exhaustion etc.

I love my srat! It’s barely any work, there’s only been a little bit of drama, our recruitment standards aren’t too high stakes. Overall I’d say it’s a very valuable experience that I had and I’m glad I chose to follow through with it. I’ve met some amazing friends!! If you’re thinking about it, go for it.

Absolutely! I have grown so much as both a person and a leader all the while creating an amazing support system for myself. Wouldn't have it any other way :)

Depends where you go. Some places are real, others are garbage. Choose wisely

Greek Rank is not the place to ask for advice. It’s all fake and the same ten people posting. Ask actual greek life people who can’t hide behind a screen

Definitely recommend, UBC really lacks a party scene so it’s a good way to have fun on the weekends.

Alumni randomly lurking from 6 years after grad:

YES, it 100% is, but only if you’re involved. All my best friends are from the Greek system now, and we’ve all helped each other in business and moved close by each other when it’s feasible.

10/10 would do again
