Does my big not like me?
by: :(My big made it seem like she really wanted me on bid day but never reaches out and hasn’t met me since. I’m in a top 4 and a top family so why would she pick me if she wasn’t going to make an effort?

I’m sorta in the same boat and I’m starting to feel really left out and haven’t been getting close with anyone in my chapter yet since I haven’t hung out with that many people and only once or twice. I thought my big was supposed to invite me to everything and introduce me to people but she doesn’t even talk to me and didn’t even have a theme for our reveal or do anything special. How can I meet and be closer to more people in Greek life

I had a similar experience when I joined. Try to get close to girls in your PC! as you get more involved in the chapter you will feel like you belong more

A bunch of other girls in my pc got those baskets of gifts from their bigs and my big hasn’t even seen me and doesn’t even respond to me

Hey! Late reply here. This year has been a transition for everyone; I'm no longer involved in my chapter as I've graduated, but try reaching out to your big, or getting involved in leadership/committees/Panhel leadership. You could also potentially suggest to your chapter about doing some Panhellenic (zoom) activities! When I was active, we did Panhel events with 1 or 2 other chapters and that's how we met girls from across the Greek system :)

My big is like this too but I don’t want to ask because I don’t want her to feel like it’s something she has to do or avoid like I don’t want to be a chore

My big doesn’t even respond to me so... I mean I didn’t expect to be like real sisters but it’d be nice to have some common courtesy and human decency

Even when my big does reach out she barely replies and I know she’s on her phone so I’m just really sad about it since I know some other people talk all the time and are best friends
