Hazing in frats

Thinking of rushing this fall if it happens but wondering whether hazing in frats is a thing? I read that it doesn’t happen in sororities but frats are more likely ???

No frats have ever hazed their pledge classes not sure where you heard that

Literally every single frat hazes in some way or another no matter what you hear. Some are a lot less/more intense than others tho

Worst ones are probably sig, beta, phi delt while ksig, psi, fiji are alright

Hey man, I'm sure you read a lot of hazing stories online, since I'm assuming you have an interest in joining the greek system. You have to keep in mind that Canadian frats and the American frats have very different pledging programs, and more often than not, the American ones are a lot worse. Pledging is gonna be a big step away from your comfort zone, so you should think hard about whether you are ready to face the challenges headon, or if you dont want to go through that.

It isn't as bad as what you've heard in the States. There are probably other things to probably be more concerned about, such as cost and time commitment...

our inish is considered torture in the Geneva convention. they had to shorten it a while back because apparently it's pretty hard for someone to be blindfolded in a dark room without food for 3 days. 24 hours was still rough...
