Bid decision...

Who actually decides if you get a bid from a sorority? What if you have bad blood with a member?

then you aren't getting in. if a member has a legit reason they feel you wouldn't be a good fit for the chapter, you will not be receiving a bid.

It really depends on the scale of the issue with a member and whether they’re a current active member in good standing or someone joining with you.

Some of the recruitment chairs last year were quite unapproachable and intimidating imo.

If you have bad blood you are not getting in. In most cases anyway.

Typically, the person you have beef with can report it to the leadership/standards team in their chapter and they can measure if it’s a legitimate reason or not. But if a sister is really uncomfortable with you joining, it’s obviously going to be her over you, and you can get blacklisted for it.

Hopefully the person you have bad blood with you absolves it or just forgives you for it. It can happen, and it will save your chances.
