by: FreshmanI'm coming to UBC for my first year in September, and was really excited for formal recruitment! Now I'm unsure, after reading all of these comments about each sorority... what are new girls going through supposed to believe?

It depends what you want to know about the sororities. The rankings on here are all over the place but fairly true.. basically if you want the "rankings" simplified it goes in two's: ADPI and DG/KKG and G Phi/ Theta and AGD/ A phi and Omicron .. That's is the most efficient way I have had it told to me in the past. Also keep in mind this ranking is based on over all standings such as popularity, involvement, philanthropy, sisterhood etc. Many people will begin to argue this is wrong but it is spot on.

Rankings are pretty much there, however take into account that most people aren't commenting here, so you need to give sororities a chance to defend themselves and show the stereotypes wrong. They're there for a reason but a lot of them are outdated from years ago and girls who even graduated and not focusing on the current groups of girls. I'd focus more on the girls you meet than what you read.
