I heard homophobia is running rampant in this chapter. Which is such a shame, they used to be known for being so accepting

Your enjoyment in this sorority depends heavily on who associates with you in it. A lot of the time the members make other girls uncomfortable, and don't really seem to know when the joke is over. Leadership is also really poor, and lots of girls have dropped due to it. I wan't to believe they can all be really sweet, but many of them tend to be snarky. Many new members complain about the way they are treated, and many current members publicly express their dislike for their sorority.

i love sk. they were the only sorority i was interested in at my school. these girls absolitely made me feel like i was home <3 love my sk girls

They’re the most sweetest and friendly out of all the sororities!!! I recommend them to anyone who wants to rush.

Dear PNMS- Get your ass off of greek rank and go into recruitment with an open mind, trust your GUT, not your ears hearing other people. The people who post negative views on any chapters page are most likely either cowards with nothing to do with their lives or bitter about that chapter for some reason that’s their own fault. I truly hope you all go into recruitment with an open heart, mind, and give every girl you talk to in every chapter an opportunity to connect with you so you can find your sisterhood. If you actually believe anything on this website then you do not belong in a sorority, as I guarantee you NONE of the women in greek life at UAB would want you if they found out you were judgey towards another chapter before even meeting them.

very odd group of gals. keep to themselves and do not mingle. not involved at all on campus and dont see many events from them, so i really wonder what their girls are paying for

self ranking like crazy trying to cover up how bad they are. i’m rushing and i have had two already try and communicate with me and they made me super uncomfortable. i have heard that they are the joke of greek life. stay away

seem good on the outside but they are disorganized and rude in reality. everyone i talk to is embarrassed to be there. some people act enthusiastic about being in the sorority but they are really miserable and wish to be in a different on. especially pc 20. don’t know how they will do with rush but i know that like 10 people have dropped just over the summer because of poor leadership

SK has THE sweetest girls on campus! They tend to just do their own thing. Sadly, lots of other chapters (AGD, KD, and AOII) tends to be rude or talk badly about them behind their backs. If you want a great sisterhood full of great memories go SK. If you are looking to be popular, super involved, and hangout with lots of fraternities this might not be the sorority for you. Regardless I have never met an SK I didn’t like.

It’s clear that people are trying to make SK and every other sorority at Uab look bad and tear them down right before recruitment. No sorority is perfect, can you even form a accurate opinion on their sisterhood if you’re not even a part of it? This goes for every other sororities rankings as well. There’s no need to leave hateful comments that will alter PNM’s opinions on sororities before they even get the chance to speak to someone actually in the sorority! Advice to PNMs Greek rank is fake !! Please make your own opinions after you talk to the sororities!!!
