grades

I have two questions, one, how do sororities find out what your gpa is during recruitment? Do they have access to your grades or do you just tell them? My second question is what does your gpa that they receive or the one you give them, represent? Does it represent your gpa from your freshman to your junior year of high school? Or your freshman through your last semester of your senior year? I'm sorry if this is really confusing but please let me know! lol
