continuing rush

How can girls drop after a few days of getting a bid when they don’t know anything about it yet? Or, do sororities take extra girls in case some drop after a while? Or do sororities realize they could have taken more pledges than originally thought?

Girls drop so soon for different reasons, some being that they didn't get the house they wanted but gave it a chance on bid day but still aren't feeling it, they realize it's way more of a time and financial commitment than they thought, etc

So if a pledge isn’t feeling like they fit in with a particular house after giving it a chance, drops, and still wants to be in a sorority, do they have to go through the entire process the following year? Or can they do continuous rush? What would be their chance of pledging a different sorority the following year? I’m hearing stuff within my dorm , so Trying to clarify.

They would have to wait a year. They could not accept a bid from another chapter before that time. In most instances, if they go through again as sophomores, they end up with the same houses unless they have met a ton of girls in a house that dropped them or have changed their appearance dramatically. For those that drop mid tier houses thinking they are too cool, they miss out on the Greek experience.
