just some recruitment advice

by: attnpnms

To incoming PNMs - before you go through recruitment, I would recommend taking a second to think about what you want to get out of a sorority. Each sorority has its strengths and weaknesses, so it all depends on what your priorities are. For example, some sororities may have a top-tier label but suffer in the philanthropy department. A sorority may have a killer sisterhood but doesn't participate in as many fraternity mixers. Just make sure that as you go through rush, you don't lose sight of what is important to YOU. Be yourself, see which house you click with, and it will all work out.

Also if you're on the fence about whether or not you want to rush, do it! Even if you don't pledge, it's still a cool experience and you get to meet new people in your rush groups (plus there's free food). Most people who go through rush despite being cynical about it surprise themselves when they actually join a sorority and love it.
