formal recruitment numbers

Does anyone know or could estimate if there will be more girls taking part in formal recruitment this year than last year? Last year we had roughly 350 girls for about 25-30 spots in 8 sororities and many dropped after getting cut by most of the desirable ones. I am going out again this year and don't know if I should anticipate more girls than last year because of the # of freshman and returning sophomores like myself...any comments or ideas???

about 400 women are expected to go out for formal recruitment this year. a majority being freshman.
