what i think happened with tn

i have many mutual acquaintances with tn so i was pretty invested with her during rush. i know a lot of people are wondering what happened with her so i thought i'd share my theory:
she definitely didn't get an official bid. she was in none of the theta bid day photos, even in the background. however, she still follows theta on instagram/is hanging out with theta girls, so i truly believe there are no hard feelings. i think she is still going to be associated with theta just under the radar, and it was probably a mutual decision. i've heard multiple reasons why this could be: i'm thinking social media following or gpa. the only thing i'm confused about was why she was at the theta pregame then.

If she didn't get a bid, she was either released by theta before the pref round and knew she wasn't getting a bid, or she dropped out on her own. Either way, there is no such thing as an 'unofficial' or 'under the radar' member. She will still have her friends but she won't be included in sorority life.

No, person who is not in a sorority, you can not 'pay under the table.' Not only is there way too much oversite for that, but no sorority would need it. Theta will be just fine without her being a member.

This is a made up excuse. She didn’t get a bid. That’s the whole story. It doesn’t matter why she is not a member.
