Fall Recruitment for Fraternities

How does fall recruitment work for upperclassmen? Do they still have to go through the same process in the spring as underclassmen? And also is it too late in the semester to start going to events, and do you just need to know people to get invited?

different frats have different approaches but most have a fall pledgeship for older guys. pretty sure all have given out bids and stuff already but the best thing to do would be to get to know rush chairs etc. for the spring imo
