sorority rush as a transfer sophomore

by: transfer

Hi everyone, i’m a current sophomore at a school in the northeast thinking about transferring to smu this spring.

i love smu but my main concern is that i know being in greek life is very big here. im an athlete at my current school so i wasn’t able to rush.

i wouldn’t have any connections at smu, and i’d be getting there in the spring so i really wouldn’t know anyone. but i would really like to be a part of greek life.

could anyone give me some insight into what rushing as a transfer sophomore is like at SMU? realistically what would the chances of someone in my situation be? thanks so much i’m advance:)

The biggest problem is probably because there are only a few sophomore spots, they usually get filled by the friends of girls already in the house. It might just be harder to get a spot since there are so few open.
