Kappa Kappa Gamma - ΚΚΓ Sorority at Southern Methodist University - SMU 3.7 Kappa is probably the most misunderstood chapter on campus. Kappa just does kappa. The girls tend to stick together which can make them seem cliquy, but the vast majority are all nice down to earth girls. They are also by far the most laid back chapter, which can be annoying to other chapters that feel like kappa doesn't put in the effort. Kappa focuses on kappa. They aren't caught up in getting other sororities in trouble or convincing girls that other chapters are bad during rush. There is a reason it has the highest retention rate out of any house during rush. At the end of the day, kappa is made up of girls with a ton of different interests and involvement, but that have a specific personality that fits with kappa; it is very niche. They get the girls they want during rush and don't care what anyone else thinks about it.

Kappa Kappa Gamma - ΚΚΓ Sorority at Southern Methodist University - SMU 3.2 I believe its totally possible to have a good experience in Kappa but you have to be a certain kind of girl. You have to be wealthy, pretty, and super social. Even then, it's not a guarantee. I've met some girls having a great time, and some girls who joined and stayed because of the status of being Kappa but did not enjoy it. Kappa tends to stay together and they all tend to be very similar in background and interests. Also, we see you self ranking. If you have to post on greek rank to get your image up in time for recruitment it's too late.

Kappa Kappa Gamma - ΚΚΓ Sorority at Southern Methodist University - SMU 4.7 Hi! It makes me sad to see some of the negative comments about these girls because my experience was so great with them. I'm a kappa from another school and met some of these girls last summer and they were all so welcoming to me. We went out that night together and they were so fun and pretty and felt like my friends from home.. WHICH was so comforting since I was so far from it due to my internship. I know they weren't just nice to me since I was kappa somewhere else, you'd be lying if you thought people in their sororities were the same all over the country in different chapters... I could tell they were just cool girls.
