why do aephi's keep calling themselves deltas??

I don't go here andI have no idea if it's all of them but I know someone who is in AEPhi and everytime I see her post about her and her sorority sisters, she calls them "deltas" which makes no sense because shes in AEPhi and I'm just confused

update: she also has a picture with her and a bunch of her sisters doing what is known at my school as the deeph hand sign... I just don't get it

they're probably in the Delta pledge class and the pictures are probably her with her pledge sisters
