I am trying to provide accurate reviews of all the sororities at UT. This is my review of Sigma Kappa. SK has a mixed reputation because it's a wide variety of girls. They are a new sorority and don't really have a defined personality, so your impression of SK will literally depend on which member of SK you meet. As a result you'll meet people who loooove them and think they're so sweet and fun, and you'll meet people who think they're lame losers. However, SK is everywhere and they have friends in every sorority and fraternity, they are very friendly and welcoming girls. I have heard that their current exec board caused a ton of girls to drop.

I am trying to provide accurate reviews of all the sororities at UT. This is my review of SDT. Sig Delt is by far the most popular sorority on campus. This is the one everyone wants because they have a rep for being hot, cool, party girls that all the frats want to hang with. They're not wrong, a lot of SDTs fit this description. They do not have a rep for being classy, but that has gotten better in recent years. This is mainly because they're known for partying with substances other than alcohol and their rauchy recruitment outfits (Daisy dukes while other sororitys look borderline Mormon). That is probably the main downside to being an SDT. They are top tier for a reason.

I am trying to provide accurate reviews of all the sororities at UT. This is my review of Pi Phi. This is not the "cool" sorority at UT by any means and some harshly refer to it as the reject sorority. Because of that stigma, they have a tough time with recruitment. On the flip side, this means that this is a very genuine group of girls who care more about sisterhood and service than being popular in college. There are some "weird" girls but everyone is kind, friendly, and unique as they don't have an established "personality" in the way that other sororities do. This is the sorority to join if you're interested in Greek life because you want real friendship. If you're interested in Greek life for socializing with frats or getting involved on campus, you won't be happy here.

I am trying to provide accurate reviews of all the sororities at UT. This is my review of Theta. This is one of the most lowkey sororities at UT. They have a reputation for being smart. There are a lot of cool girls in theta, but they don't really have the rep of a "cool" sorority. I would say this is mainly due to being so lowkey, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Theta tends to be pretty cliquey within the sorority so that will either be something you love or hate about it.

I am trying to provide accurate reviews of all the sororities at UT. This is my review of DZ. I would say that DZ is one of the more well rounded sororities at UT because there are girls of every personality type. It's like if you mixed all the other sororities together, you'd get DZ. They have a pretty good reputation on campus. The most negative aspect of their reputation is that they have some crazy girls. But the vast majority are very nice and normal. I personally didn't like them going through recruitment (I blame it on their chant... you'll see what I mean) but outside of that I have never met a DZ I didn't like.

I am trying to provide accurate reviews of all the sororities at UT. This is my review of DG. In my opinion, DG seems to be going downhill. They used to be one of the best sororities at UT - they were pretty much like SDT but blonder and classier. The vast majority of girls join for the reputation, which means that many members are not "genuine" and many girls end up dropping. Older members are often mean to or dismissive of new members. Of course there are plenty of girls in DG who are perfectly nice and not catty at all, but this is a reputation of theirs for a reason. At this point I think most girls who go through recruitment want SDT, DZ, or DG... but the first two are way more desirable because the members join for reasons other than just being able to wear the letters.

These girls are so nice and not what people make them out to be. Don't believe half the stuff on this website, it is usually catty girls trying to make other sororities sound bad to promote their own.

Talked to these girls the other day. Seem passionate about their sorority and philanthropy. Looking forward to learning more during recruitment.
