esa and trilogy

Is coed nationally. How do they get away with being girls only here? Are they recognized by the school?

ESA is considered underground because all the girls from ChiO joined it and are continuing their traditions. It's not a bad thing that they are underground, they just don't have to follow any Panhellenic rules or participate in any Greek events like Greek sing or Greek week. They do have nationals and I have no idea how they are getting around the whole co-Ed fraternity by only accepting girls. While I did hear they are trying to become panhel, they could only get associate status which means they would be another phi rho or ophia.

trilogy still hands down tri delt letters and esa is making every effort for chi o to die out. esa is allowed to be all girls because it is determined by chapter (other schools have all girl ones too). it's not a fraternity, it's a national service organization. they're allowed to have recruitment, they have a chapter, and a chapter advisor. trilogy is a THON org, so how they get away with recruitment and limiting members is really unknown. also esa definitely isn't trying to be under panhel now or ever.
