What is the real truth about joining ESA? It isn't a traditional sorority and fairly new so there is not much I have seen about it and I am considering rushing.

Realistically, their recruitment is the same time as panhel so you can really only commit to one. Panhel has many sororities with a lot of variety. If you rush underground, you just rush the one so if you get dropped... you have no other options

They are not new and they are not a sorority. They are an underground drinking club. If you are considering joining a club to meet people, it may be for you. But, for God's sake, don't tell people you are in a sorority. Be honest with yourself. If you want to be Greek, go through recruitment and consider the additional benefits of sororities. You will expand your social circle but also develop leadership skills, get to live with your sisters, be part of a national organization with access to a large network of sisters for the rest of your life. ESA is not the same.

Ur wrong and just jealous they are higher tier than u 😂😂😂. They ARE very clearly a sorority in every way. If your saying they aren’t a sorority because they don’t have nationals then Bsb isn’t a frat.

Join wherever you feel you will make the closest friends, whether it’s a sorority, fraternity, club, whatever. That’s what it’s all about.

Simply put, they are not respected and considered leeches on Greek life.
