incoming freshman with questions
by: FreshHi I just accepted to penn state and am thinking of rushing DSig, Acacia, Lambda, and ATO. Can you guys give me the rundown on those like what are they like

Freshmen can only rush second semester so try to get the best grades possible first semester and then rush a good amount of houses next semester. You should get to know the brothers and join where you fit in best. Honestly anywhere mid tier and up will be fine imo, but if you join a house you don't fit in well with you'll end up hating it.

I received a couple upper mid level frat bids but knew that the right fit for me was a frat that's considered a lower tier frat I went with my gut and I am still happy with my choice. These dudes turned out to be my closest friends. You can't choose off a website. You need to get to know the brothers. Btw, my dad is an ATO alum and I still based my decision on where I felt the most comfortable.

take it from someone who joined the "better" house over mid tiers but i have nothing in common with my brothers and im not close with many of them. I vibed heavier with my other houses while rushing but paid more attention to tiers and status and now im not happy.
