Did anyone else get screwed on their sorority choices? I heard that the computer system was really messed up this year any info out there?
I also heard that many sororities didn't fill their pledge classes and have open spots any info?

The whole formal process is a joke, I'm sure half the spot are already taken before day one by friends of friends and Legacy. By forcing all the girls to visit every single sorority, it doesn't give anyone a chance to actually get to know who the girl is. They should do away with the formal process.

Why was I forced to waste my time with sororities that I had no interested in to begin with. If I could have spent more time with the sororities I was interested in, they could have gotten to know who I am and at least I would have had a fighting chance. Am I the only one that thinks this way?

They know better than you if you will fit in. Everyone says “trust the process” and as cheesy and stupid as it sounds, IT IS TRUE. The ‘“computer glitch” rumor goes around every year. There has never been a glitch. I’m getting the feeling you were just rejected from top tiers. News flash- after rush, no one cares about tiers. You might have made a great connection with girls in lower sororities, but now you ruined it. If you rush informally next year, keep this in mind and don’t worry about tiers.

The formal recruitment process has been developed and updated by NPC for over a hundred years. It is used at every campus and works just fine. If you don't like it, there is always informal which is much more similar to the fraternity system. Check out the chapters participating in the fall. You decide who to visit and when. There are no restrictions or being forced to visit chapters that you don't want. However, I think you will find that it still might not work out for you. Lots of guys who are still waiting for texts will tell you that.

They don't know anything with a 15-minute conversation that's why the process is not correct. I wish more of the girls that feel like me would speak up.
I didn't just go after top tiers but by the time the process was done I was left with one that I wanted and one that I definitely didn't want so I wasn't going to take the chance. The Frats have a much better system
