how big are typical pledge classes?

What decides how big a pledge class is for a frat? Which frats have bigger pledge classes and which frats have smaller ones?

Pretty much depends on if a fraternity is growing or wants to grow. More fraternities will likely have bigger pledge classes this semester due to very small pledge classes last semester
