Penn Stats is a school revered for its legendary Greek life and parties... a mid tier house here would be top at any other school. Even with all the new rules and restrictions, PSU Greek life is arguably still the best in the country.
The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.
I've never seen a school in the Northeast with this competitive of a fraternity rush process.
The new rules are kinda trash but even with them greek life is a must at PSU. It's very competitive in the spring, less in the fall, but if you get into a good one it will be the best decision of your life.
still one of the best greek communities in the nation
So Greek life is really on a decline after the incident. More and more freshman are realizing that they don't need to be Greek to have fun and go to parties. If your on the fence about rushing, save your money and make a good group of friends to party with. If you want to rush then you can still have a lot of fun even with all the rules!
supreme like the white race
