Lol, you guys have no idea how different on campus actually is. Some of these girls are working their asses off raising thousands of dollars for philanthropy, others hold high positions on EB like managing a budget of over $100,000. they have actual GPA requirements, set up peer tutoring systems for each other, and give out awards for things like academic achievement and sisterhood. They have a founders day, and a real parents weekend. They visit and socialize with chapters from other schools. They have an entire national organization behind them that gives them access to academic aid, internships, jobs, resumes, and networking. They have a membership to a national organization for life. Any position or part you have in an on campus sorority opens up hundreds of doors an off campus sorority could never, you guys just clearly don't know what you're talking about. For you guys it is not a resume builder. but it is for us.

All the girls writing essays on greek rank please reveal what sorority you’re in and why you care so much about off-campus sororities. I’m 100% sure it’s the wack on-campus sorority girls who are just mad about where they ended up. Also what bing sorority has a budget of over $100,000 lolol

For everyone saying its not close to 100k It is tho. If each person pays $800-$1000 in dues every year and the chapter has 100-150 ppl (most bing sororities do). Then yes it is somewhere around that, and someone has to budget all that money to make sure it gets where is needs to go. They might not all at once but still.

Yeah money goes to nationals because it’s invested back into the organization and it’s members. A on campus sorority offers things after graduation like scholarships for grad school and help for sisters in need. You get none of that in an off campus sorority because it’s not real.

The best part about this is that y’all are trying to stroke some ego about being in a sorority. The on-campus people on this sound like the most annoying and entitled srat girls ever and the off campus people sound like they’re trying to overcompensate something lmfao chill tf out and smoke some weed

It is for the girls who care and for the ones who become part of their eboard and even If they’re not on eboard there’s plenty of ways to show leadership through a sorority. Imagine thinking greek life is just partying. Sad and pathetic
