You can't compare Kappa to the other three in terms of surface appearance, who they mix with, selectivity, etc, but the girls are nice to one another and to other people on campus. They stick to their vibe and don't get involved in drama, and that's super cool. There's a sorority for everyone and Kappa fills that gap so non "sorority types" can still have all the benefits of sisterhood.

Theta is the queen of Yale sororities but that doesn't mean all the girls are snotty. They are committed to being progressive, and they are very diverse, at least racially speaking. All of the Thetas I know are brilliant and very sweet, hardworking girls. The Theta thing is that all the girls are very involved in other things on campus, not just being a "sorority girl." Good sisterhood and a solid group of women.

Their reputation has definitely changed from the Alpha Phi that first came to campus because they are more selective and a little more uppity. The Leo association and the rich-girl thing, take that as you will. I don't think it's representative of APhi as a whole; the majority of girls are really down-to-earth and kind.

They've gotten a lot of backlash recently about their rush process, and some of it is justified, but most of it is not. Everyone I know in Pi Phi is really sweet and tons of fun. Not as obsessed with status as some of the others, seeing how they're all friends with each other and go to all of their mixers. Pi Phi is what you would want out of a sorority: in the others, it's about getting social connections and going to parties. Pi Phi is about sisterhood and having fun. And they're not bottom tier like Kappa, either.

The girls are really down to earth and there is a large mix of girls from all backgrounds: they are welcoming to all and super friendly. This page is so toxic and overlooks the majority of the sorority. APHI GIRLS ARE SOME OF THE NICEST, SWEETEST GIRLS YOU WILL MEET ON CAMPUS. Please stop being so mean, and remember there's over a hundred girls in this sorority, each representing its values and sisterhood. Although alpha phi has become more selective, they are still super down to earth, fun to talk to, and care so much for each other.
