what's the deal?

So I'm not sure how accurate this is but multiple people have been talking about how Sigma Kappa bid promised a freshman girl already and are trying to cover it up? Thoughts?

I'm not buying it. I'm no SK fan, but it's far too early to have rush crushes and dirty rushing. We've all been back to campus for like a week with freshmen. I think this is made up.

I don't even like Sigma Kappa. I think they have a lot of things they need to work on as an organization but I think who ever posted this just wants to stir it up more.

A key thing about bid promising: sororities can get in a LOT of trouble for doing this. So if this girl was promised a bid (doubtful) the sorority that promised her would want to keep her as quiet as possible. They wouldn't want her running around and talking about it. I call BS on this whole thing anyway. Or the girl is nuts.
