by: FreshmanHow strict are the houses about GPA? Like do they just care about the required GPA to rush? And do the top houses already have their bid lists made up or is that a rumor?

It is definitely a rumor that bid lists are already made up, there is no way to go about that because of the processes that sorority recruitment goes through. GPA is a very important factor, all houses require the Panhellenic required GPA but most houses expect a little better.

Having too many people with bad gpas is going to hurt the chapter, so if you're very low it will make you somewhat less desirable, if it comes down to two girls the we love one with a high gpa and one with a low gpa, we will go with the higher. Obviously we know girls from school or from home who will be offered bids because we already know them but we don't know everyone so we reserve judgment for those we don't.
