Delta Phi Epsilon - ΔΦΕ Sorority Ratings at SJU

you call this a sisterhood???? just spoke to them for recruitment and all they can say is that they like having people to go out with. i even saw them texting while talking to me which is so rude. if you follow even just one on ig you know that they are at parsons every night. not even a nice place. overall trashy and pathetic.

What i’ve noticed so far: just like this sorority, at sju, there’s (objectively and subjectively) “pretty” and “not so pretty” girls in literally every org at this university lmfao. the girls have a lot of sisters who vary in self identity. not everyone “looks” and “acts” the same in this chapter. that’s deff different from the others. Because the other orgs appeared to look and act more like one another…and that’s fine too! But overall, I can’t discount that I had good conversations with these girls. I thought they were gonna be ode weird. That’s what this site paints it out to be like lol. but low key I met some real stunners and i’m def gonna hit them up and hang out with them even if I don’t really want to pull through with joining greek life at all.

This sorority isn’t too bad as a whole, I think they get a bad rep because they aren’t as pretty as other sororities, but some of these girls are gorgeous. Apart from that, most of them are VERY nice, and there’s a couple girls with horrible attitudes. Their ex president not only trash talks people outside of the sorority, but trash talks her own sisters a lot too. I think it makes them look horrible and they aren’t that bad, but she makes them look like a bad group of girls. She’s a bad person and it reflects on her sorority. Do better. The other sisters seem to all be nice, it’s a shame.

i graduated a few years ago and came on here to check for laughs and wow. the amount of bad ranks this chapter has gotten from other sororities is insane. i’m pretty sure girls going through recruitment don’t even check greek rank or know about it so yall are just out here showing your true colors for no reason. can’t yall just love eachother? what’s the point of competition? you are all in greek life meaning you are all a family within the bigger community of st. john’s. once you realize that you’ll have better experience. stop with the unnecessary hate… it’s really pathetic! going based off this i can’t speak for how dphie is now, but if you’re going through recruitment dont listen to anything any of these people are saying. listen to your gut and choose whichever sorority you feel the most comfortable.

most of y'all haven't been here to see it but dphi has def been getting better thru the years. i graduated last spring from another org and they actually managed to take some pnms we wanted. a lot of their older girls and alumni were weird af but theyre getting better and i was actually friends with some of the new ones, sucks no one will give them a chance tho bc theyre stuck in the old image. hopefully their new class is as good as the last few

this org is just neutral. there are some good girls and some bad ones but you get that in every org. theyre not popular and usually take everyone so idk why everyone is hating so much since theyre def not a threat. dont know any of them personally but they seem fine from who i follow on insta

When commenting on this organization, or any other for that matter, it’s important to remember perspective/(mis)percep tion versus reality. What appears one way could be entirely different upon reflection. So maybe those with negative ratings have had unfavorable experiences or biases. In life, you’re not always going to like everyone you meet…and not everyone is always going to like you. At the end of the day, i’ve met really great people from this sorority. Did I get along with every single one of them? no. but LMAOOO that was the case with everyone I had met in ALL THE OTHER organizations AS WELL.

@person below, i'm a part of another sorority but I really just don't understand the hate that dphi is getting? It's so unnecessary and the constant bashing of their old president doesnt even make any sense. Running any sorority last year was difficult because of the pandemic so what exactly are you expecting from the president? There was only so much to do and there weren't even that many in person events to assume from the outside that she did a bad job. If you have only had so called run ins with dphi, then how could you even assume so much about them? Calling them disgusting is beyond low and its obvious at this point that its the same person saying all this. I have met many of the sisters in dphi and they are all amazing people who only want the best for their org. My advice to pnms is that you shouldn't listen to any hate comments on any sorority, because none of it is usually true.

I have had a few run-ins with this sorority. The girls are absolutely disgusting towards each other. They all hate and isolate each other. As always there are a few nice ones but with this certain chapter the bad out weighs the good. They are beyond catty and the last president didn’t seem to care to help her sorority. I have seen the way she has acted towards other chapters too. I would never accept a bid from this sorority and no one should.

i don’t get why you would badmouth your own sisters to girls in panhel and gphi, that’s obviously not a good look. some girls in this org are very catty, their lack of friends and lack of a little just goes to show that 🤣 I vibed with some sisters during recruitment but ultimately went to another org and now seeing this behavior i don’t regret my decision, some y’all need to grow tf up
