Like most of the SJU panhellenic sororities it does NOT welcome diversity, however every pledge class will take one token black person (or mixed girl) and make a black history month post to try and claim it. Used to be some of the baddest most fun girls on campus, couldn’t tell you what changed.

Alpha Sigma Alpha - ΑΣΑ Sorority at St. Johns University - SJU 1.7 That last rank was atrocious. You guys are definitely not barbies… mattel doesn’t make barbie’s that are nasty to others. The ones in the toy shops are plastic but you guys are the ones that are fake. Young Karens come from this org. Your bullying, lying, untrue accusations and defamation of character is not cute.

Alpha Sigma Alpha - ΑΣΑ Sorority at St. Johns University - SJU 2.4 Okay in all: a little too try hard. I think there’s like some type of tension to create the perfect facade and appearance. The thing is that I didn’t really feel anything distinguishable. Lmao it’s like I came into a room of virgos and i’m an aquarius lmfaooo jokesssss. but in all seriousness, you don’t have to try to be perfect lmfao. People see through that. to them: Please be yourself. I wonder what you’d be like if society didn’t convince you otherwise.

Alpha Sigma Alpha - ΑΣΑ Sorority at St. Johns University - SJU 5.0 i graduated a few years ago and came on here to check for laughs and wow. the amount of bad ranks this chapter has gotten from other sororities is insane. i’m pretty sure girls going through recruitment don’t even check greek rank or know about it so yall are just out here showing your true colors for no reason. can’t yall just love eachother? what’s the point of competition? you are all in greek life meaning you are all a family within the bigger community of st. john’s. once you realize that you’ll have a better experience. stop with the unnecessary hate… it’s really pathetic! going based off this i can’t speak for how asa is now, but if you’re going through recruitment dont listen to anything any of these people are saying. listen to your gut and choose whichever sorority you feel the most comfortable with.
