Southern's Greek system needs help so bad. It has suffered for 30 years. It will never be close to what they have at State or OM.

All goes back to admissions. USM's students are lower-income than State/UM, thus weaker greek life. Tough to recruit students without SEC affiliation.

That being said, no reason Southern couldn't be on the level of a Georgia Southern (mid major with solid greek).

I agree, but what are you doing to help improve it? It's gonna take a lot of hard work from every Greek chapter here to improve USM's reputation.

Well, at least we don't have near the scandal and drama at State and Ole Miss. I know some people who felt ruined by Greek Life there, so sometimes low-key is best.
