Frats 24W (Post Suspension Hearings):

by: Anonymous

A-side: Psi U, XH, GDX
B-side: Beta, Chi Gam, TDX
C-side: Phi Delt, Sig Nu, BG, SAE, AXA
D-side: Pi Kap, Zete, Sig Ep

Before you complain about TDX and AXA…

TDX: They have the worst reputation on campus. They couldn’t fill out a pledge class and nearly, if not more than, half of the campus would rather stay home than come to their parties. Calling them a-side is a little ridiculous and frankly, b-side is generous.

AXA: They couldn’t fill out a pledge class. The terms of their suspension plus risk-adverse execs means that events here will be pretty dead until at least spring. The truth is that any house that has trouble with rush, is hit or miss for scenes, and has bad pong is, objectively, c-side.

Beta has never been A-side (they never throw??). After getting a mediocre rush class, getting banned till next fall, and ruining their relationship with aphi, it doesn’t look like that’ll be changing anytime soon

Fraternities as they exist now are facing a crisis. Only 11% of students come to our school interested in joining a fraternity. This declining interest has coincided with the fact that members of fraternities are far more likely to drink in excess than the average student. Because our SigEp chapter has a substance-free policy, we recruit better candidates and have stronger brotherhood than other fraternities chapters that are regrettably still beholden to illegal and dangerous drinking. SigEp is modeling a new way and new future for other fraternities to follow.
