hazing history

Okay so I was digging around online and found a story of a guy from 1994 that was killed due to a bad hazing incident. And another of some sorority girls in like 2002.
I know that every group of people can have a bad egg in it and I don't at all believe this is a quality every greek person possess, I was just wondering what SEMO has done to prevent this in recent years, if at all.
Have the organizations that were a part of these incidents been removed from campus? Is any house on campus one that has been know to go on probation often?

I plan to rush in fall and I just want to know what environment I'm getting myself into with SEMO greek life.
