what is there to do?
by: DeltaRaiderHey guys, thinking of transferring to SJSU but I want to have a fun college experience wherever I transfer to. What do you like about your school? What don't you like about it? I heard it's pretty much a commuter school so everyone is gone on the weekends which means like no parties or people to hang out with. How's greek life? My friend goes to CSUN (another commuter school) and she kind of regrets it. I know your college experience depends mostly upon the choices you make yourself and your attitude about it but just wanted to get the opinion of students there. Thanks.

SJSU is a commuter school. so with that being said student life on campus isn't as lively as it is at other schools. I guess choice should be based of what you want. if you want to mainly party then chico and Santa barbara are your best bets. but if you want a school that puts you in a good position to get hired by a good company in the business or tech industry. I have enjoyed my time at SJSU but I credit that to the brotherhood i joined and the great experiences i've had. the administration sucks at SJSU, but over all it comes down to the simple fact that you get as much as you put in. I don't know if this helps any.

I'm probably gonna be living in the transfer dorms wherever I go so it kind of sucks to hear that about the campus life. I definitely do want to party but neither of those schools have a chapter of my fraternity there and that's not all i'm interested in anyways. I moved to CA summer 2015 so like I still don't really know much about anything here lmao. Any advice is appreciated man, thanks.
