Some do have a bit of a geographical bias. Not saying it's the most important thing but you should be aware of it. I know of a chapter that mainly takes girls from Lexington, two from Louisville (one high school in particular), one from the Columbus/Dublin Ohio area. You'll find your place though so I wouldn't worry too much about.
