This is very accurate. However if Tri Delt gets another okay pledge class they will fall to upper, and if Alpha Phi gets another good pledge class they will go up. I see Alpha Phi as upper middle right now, but depending on their pledge class they may stay in the middle tier.

This is definitely the most accurate except put AGD with Kappa and KD.

no sweetheart, sororities are not for the most part the same. not even close. their are tiers for a reason based off certain things. and by this post most people seem to agree very much.

I'd agree that yes, there are tiers BUT the differences between the groups are A LOT smaller than people want to realize. One or two good/bad pledge classes or recruitments and there can be a big swing up/down. Plus, what are you using to classify chapters? Academics? Philanthropy? Sisterhood? Fun? Looks? Social life? Opportunity to lead or make meaningful changes in a group? What you look at changes the "ranking".

Top chapters don't want to think they'll ever fall but maintaining that status is HARD and it takes its toll over time.

Middle chapters make improvements, sometimes pretty major, but don't get recognized or credit for them because the top chapters are so desperate to either hang onto their standing OR don't think there's enough room for more people (which isn't true) at the top. Just because a group gets better, shouldn't mean the ones that are great aren't just as good as they were before.

Bottom chapters work hard and get better but have a hard time gaining traction and the continued digging on them on sites like this make it near impossible to get out of that "bottom" status.

Thing is, even the "bottom" chapters are full of great women who love their sorority and have a lot to offer a PNM. Maybe if the groups all put more effort into building each other up instead of tearing down they could all be considered 'top".

Not an Alpha phi, say what you want but statistically and factually those rankings are wrong. Alpha Phi is above PiPhi for the last 2 years, and DG for the last year. Theta is now above adpi also and I think AGD is middle tier.

This is inaccurate. DG and Pi Phi both had better GPAs, less drop percentage, and have more history on the campus. Alpha phi is almost there, if their pledge class this year is good then they may possibly be even with them but as of now DG/Pi Phi are the only upper tier sororities.
