transfer student,18 w/ an a.a. degree this spring

by: Wondering '19

Are fall transfer students typically welcomed and likely to receive a bid if they have something to offer a particular sorority? Based on last year's 2015 recruitment, what percentage of the girls who went through recruitment actually got a bid from at least one sorority? Finding a lifelong sisterhood is extremely important to me during my college years. I am not a legacy, but will have recommendation letters from my aunts, teachers, and that were in one particular sorority. Also, at least one recommendation for the other sororities at Samford.
Thank you for any input or suggestions.

I don't know the stats, but you should definitely go through formal recruitment. We have great chapters here and adding a phenomenal one this fall (Delta Delta Delta).
Contact the Greek Life director for stats and good luck!!
