the elusive "party"

Combing through the forum, I have yet to find a post the adequately addresses the quality/quantity of frat/sorority/house parties. As a possible student and rusher this fall, I'd like to know the availability of and general attitude towards alcohol consumption at parties (if there is any). It isn't a deal-breaker if there isn't any, but as a man pursuing a full college experience, I would hope that it's at least remotely available. I'd appreciate a timely response.

It is there if you look for it. You can be at a party and see some, but it also won't be shoved down your neck. No one cares if you don't drink, no one cares if you do. Just don't make a fool of yourself and no one will pay any attention
