greek life at samford

So I just wanted to say that I am a freshman and will be going through Samford rush next week. I have heard some pretty intense stories from friends of mine who have just completed rush at other schools~ about all the "hate" sororities heap on each other, and insane level of competition and unfair/biased "ranking" of the groups on sites like this one. I have to say I have been surprised and happy about the low-key attitude about rush so far at Samford. I haven't heard alot of mean talk going on in the dorms, or read a bunch of hate on sites like this. Obviously I hope recruitment goes well, and I would love get a bid, but if it doesn't work out I think it will all be ok in the end. The vibe here has been very friendly so far. I think this is a big positive about Samford.
