Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Samford University - SU 4.7 I’m not Greek but AOII would be my pick if I was. It probably wouldn’t have been if I rushed as a freshman because EVERYONE tells you they are the worst. It really isn’t fair that some groups try their hardest to make everyone think they are not a good sorority. They may be a little more low key but they have a lot of girls focused on future goals and not just a fun time. I watch all the chapters on social media and on campus. You can tell AOII has beautiful, smart, and involved ladies. It seems like they work so hard during recruitment too. This year, they really look the most put together of all the chapters.

They look like they have like so much fun and that they all seem to have the best sisterhood. They get a lot of hate but it's probably because they're the most genuine group of girls. They definitely aren't afraid to be themselves and are getting more attention i think because of it.

If I rushed I think I would have liked to be in aoii. They look like they have like so much fun and that they all seem to have the best sisterhood. Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Samford University - SU 4.4 They get so much hate, but honestly AOII has some of the sweetest and most involved girls I have ever met. I know almost every AOII my age and I would say that almost all of them are super kind. Yes, some of them are more reserved than other sororities, but I think they have such a strong sisterhood. They’ve had really good pledge classes in recent years too.

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Samford University - SU 4.7 AOII is often overlooked from past stereotypes. Yes there are some girls who aren’t you stereotypical or classic “sorority girls” just like any other chapter - and let’s be real you aren’t choosing Samford for it’s greek life like some do with Bama. AOIIs are sweet girls with good values. If you drive by their house chances are you constantly see them hanging out with each other on their patio. They seem like they’re always doing sisterhood events and each AOII I’ve encountered is super sweet, “sorority girl” or not

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Samford University - SU 4.7 As an alum, full disclosure, I did not want AOII at first. Everyone told me they were the misfits on the edge of the hill, that’s actually so far from the truth. I was hurt and almost embarrassed during recruitment. A month later I was wearing my letters with PRIDE knowing I had a REAL SISTERHOOD behind me. We have a 99% keep rate. You wont see girls dropping because of bullying, drama, mean girl things, there is no conniving against sisters and outright bullying because of jealousy. When I tell you it’s so down to earth, and a loving environment, I MEAN THAT. Duh, there’s drama sometimes, but the way it is dealt with… I can’t speak highly enough of our Leadership. I’ve been in AOII drama, since then I’ve never felt more loved and cared for by my ENTIRE sorority, and LC. These girls are real, they are genuine, they are beautiful, and I sole heartedly believe God put me in AOII for my growth as a woman. I love AOII and I am loved by AOII, it’s something I will cherish forever. Reading this before recruitment?? Go AOII. 100% one of the biggest blessings in my life.

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at Samford University - SU 4.9 They’re the nicest people and some of my closest friends are in AOII. They get this like underrated rep but they deserve way more hype because they’re great. They all super involved, fun, very non-judge mental and just loving people.
