So basically what I got from this (which seems pretty spot on to me) is that AEPhi, DG, and Kappa are the most worthwhile chapters to join.
Anyone care to disagree?

This is where ranking threads go awry. While those descriptions pretty much hit the nail, that DOESN'T mean they define which chapters are worthwhile to join. The chapter that's most worthwhile to join is the one where you feel most at home.
disclaimer: I'm IN one of those chapters, so this isn't someone refuting your comment because it doesn't include their own organization. My chapter was the most worthwhile for ME to join because that's where I felt I had found my sisters.

I don't really know anyone in aephi but based on the girls I know in dg, they don't recruit by tier standards. Sometimes the pc's turn out good by those standards but I don't see them changing their value set to move up in a tier system thats kind of irrelevant here.

The "Golden Triangle" is a stupid thing made up years ago to describe Kappa, Pi Phi, and Alpha Phi as the hottest sororities (not saying much when there were only 6 chapters on campus.....). If people consider Kappa no longer in it, then the Triangle no longer exists. And it's never been a standard of any ranking metric except looks - as far as I know DG and AEPhi are much more concerned with being actually GOOD chapters.

aephi doesn't have a shot at moving up since they are so similar to pi phi. both love to party. aephi needs to develop an presence on campus

i agree and disagree with the 2014 ranks. also, in the interest of disclosure: i am a fraternity man who's mixed at least once with each (i think).
1. alpha phi, pi phi: a little high strung, good looking. always down to party, easy to talk to
2. kappa: definitely on the down and out, but still a fun group of girls to party with. a lot of them wear bows
3. dg/chio - maybe dg is higher, idk. both smart, more relaxed than alpha phi or pi phi. dg is more into sorority things, but chio seems to care a lot about everyone in their chapter. still pretty good looking
4. aephi - party girls, a lot of japs, fairly predictable in any given situation that a few will be puking before the end of the night
5. kd - new kids on the block. too soon to tell. a lot of overachievers, but people get burnt out fast and drop (or so i've been told)
6. aopi - they're trying. maybe too hard.

1 & 2: agreed
3: dg and chio want similar girls, but most people seem to agree that dg is a step above chio. dg is just more present on campus. both still are full of awesome girls who are involved on campus and care a lot about each other.
4: if it's top/middle/bottom, aephi is on the same tier as dg and chio. if it's being separated out a little bit more, aephi is probably on tier with chio and then dg being a little bit above the two of them and below kappa.
5 & 6: disagree. kd tries way harder than aopi. and people at least like aopi as a chapter versus people like some kds but as a chapter they're kinda rude to people. maybe on the same level, but i personally would put aopi over kd.

I would strongly disagree with "almost" on one point. maybe they're all in the same tier, but dg and chi o are definitely above aephi, and i don't think many people on campus would disagree. good call on kd/aopi tho-- kd women definitely need to chill out
