love dz!!!!! these girls are the nicest on campus. i hope to see them grow as a chapter. very diverse and kind.

I really have enjoyed this brotherhood when we social with them. Nice, funny, respectful guys who know how to have fun and party, but also get down to business. Their house is pretty nice its just in a really unfortunate location. They're like the highest mid tier or lowest top tier fraternity on campus as a result.

The guys are nice but I have no clue what they're doing. It's probably the lowest tier fraternity on campus and its closer to a book club to a fraternity. The guys don't do anything bad or have a bad reputation, they're just nerdy and have no reputation at all.

The few I've met are kinda weird. When I was rushing, I got a text for the first time from their rush chair like a month after rush was over. That just says they're either disorganized or hungry for numbers. There are rumors about them you can read about on here. I don't really believe the rumors. The chapter has a great house location but they don't do enough to leverage that. Phi Delt and DG do well with similar house locations, but Phi Tau just hasn't put it together to work for them.

They have decent guys but generally keep to themselves. They kind of act like they're in an exclusive SEC frat sometimes. Loosen up boys, this is Akron. Pretty athletic and an okay group otherwise. Their house is in a good location for tailgating which is good for visibility, but that also means the house can get a bit sloppy to the public eye.

I have done some campus wide service events with some of these guys and they're a group of super nice and classy guys. I haven't met one that I didn't like. That being said, the biggest thing holding them back is their social presence on campus. I just haven't met many besides at the service events. And I don't see them posting on social media as much either. Like I said, they're a great group of guys. I would just like to see what kind of great stuff they're up to.

TKE has gone through some changes during my time here at UA and thats honestly for the better. They used to have a bad reputation with a lot of my female friends but that has gotten better recently. Im assuming thats what the other reviews are referring to when they say there were some "bad apples" in the chapter. Otherwise, this is a pretty mid tier maybe upper mid tier fraternity. I wouldn't say they are the smartest, most athletic, do the most service, or have the best parties. But they do all of the above pretty solidly. They attract the type who uses greek rank to pick a fraternity. So if you're reading this, this is the fraternity for you.
