what is your thoughts on these fraternities?
by: PnmHi everyone im thinking of going Greek here at WSU. So im considering PKTs, PiKapps, and SigEps for this summer. I have contacted them and know a few of the guys. I'm just curious what you guys think about them. Its really not going to affect my final decision, its just curiosity.

All of those are strong, great houses, but slightly different. SigEps has the best grades of the three, PKT has the nicest houses of the three and PiKapps is the only wet house of the three. And all three do not have an sanctions or disciplinary problems at the moment. You really can't go wrong with either one. Personally, i'm a girl at I party pretty often and hang out with the guys of PKT.

Two of your three are in my five. All three were overly nice when contacting them (A few houses were kindof sketchy)...Seems like a solid three to check out though.
Any thoughts on what a good number is to checkout. Since summer events are usually a few hours away, and to connect with everyone you would need to go to at least three or more events (maybe?) Therefore, its not really economical to check out more than three chapters seriously, correct?

I've contacted a few, and my top isn't the most respected by what I have been told. But they seemed the most real with me.

My only problem is disguising who is actually being genuine. Which I probably won't until I go to a few events and meet them.
I know all chapters are different, but when you look at a PNM/rushee what would your top 5 things you look at be?

I'm guessing those three were SigEps, and PKTs? PiKapps lately has been rude to PNMs that show any interest unless they're begging you to get in. One of my friends tried to contact them this spring, no response, the other was told to go and try another house even before saying his name in a rude manner. PKTs and SigEps well get back to you and well talk about their events, or just be honest and say their not doing spring anymore and to try summer. That is what i call class. I'm Greek and i hate when other Greeks are rude to PNMs especially when i know the PNM s personally, and would be good members of any potential chapter.
And to answer your question(PNM 2) i would recommend keeping it at tops 2 chapters, and to try and contact them ASAP that your interested some chapters start their events earlier or in May.
Also to take in consideration of what others say about the members attitude and respect they give to others. Party, looks, popularity should not matter when it comes to other peoples opinions.
Also when trying to connect with other members try and keep the conversation going the more interest you show and the more you interact, the higher chance they well remember you and well want you back. just don't drag on the conversation. and TALK TO MORE THEN THE SAME GUYS IN THE CHAPTER! A lot of guys fuc.k that up and wonder why their not invited back or given a bid, even though they only talked to the same 5 guys. Good luck!
