legacy?

I'm going to be going through sorority recruitment this fall and I was curious if being a legacy really matters here? I know they are a big deal in the south

Being a legacy definitely gives you a little bit more consideration. Some organizations take it more seriously than others.

Being a legacy might give you a few extra days in a house but if they don't like you they won't keep you and if they do like you being a legacy doesn't matter

Having legacy status will definitely get your foot in the door. They'll give you more consideration. And I know in most houses if you are there on pref night you have a spot on the bid list.

Also if you get dropped they have to call the family member that is a part of the sorority and notify them that you have been released #awkward

Being a legacy doesn't do anything tbh if you're weird and the house doesn't want you they won't take you
