snap bids?

I was dropped today and multiple people including my RCs told me it was because of grades but I'll most likely get a snap bid. What is this? What houses praticipated in giving snap bids last year?

snap bids are for chapters that don't meet quota. Nobody knows for sure which houses gave out snap bids last year. There is no guarantee you'll get a snap bid, and it's actually not that likely so I have no idea why you were told that.

This sucks to hear, but there are more girls than last year rushing, and last year was a record number.

It seems very unlikely that many, if any houses will be giving snap bids. It would be very surprising if a house didn't make quota.

You obviously don't know how recruitment works. Just because there are a ton of people doesn't mean someone wont make quota. Its a numbers game... but sorry girl, I wouldn't bank on snap bids, if it happens it happens, but don't get your hopes up...
