rush

Would it be weird to be a junior and to rush? I never had the opportunity to be in a sorority before since Im coming from Whatcom CC. But I've always wanted to experience it!

In my pledge class, we have one junior so it is doable. However, a lot of houses are hesitant to take even sophomores, so I would so you should go for it but just know it will be more difficult than it would be if you were a freshman

It ended up working out for me, but honestly it's pretty hard. Being a junior is a disadvantage, and rush has a huge luck component to it. You might as well try it but I would recommend that you have some sort of housing backup.

I heard Panhellenic is creating a quota for each house to have a certain amount of juniors and a certain amount of sophomores so houses (for example, theta) that strictly Rush freshman will no longer be able to do that. So to answer your question, you should be okay :)

Will the quota be implemented this fall during FFR?
